living it (CSI COLD CASE #311 DT Work)

Hi again! Today's layout is made with the COLD CASE FILE of CSI. Here is the CASE FILE.

こんにちは！今日のレイアウトは CSI のコールドケースで作ったレイアウトです。こちらがチャレンジ♪

I used an outline of a cutfile that I had kept for a while, and I decided to use it like little windows. First I machine stitched around each window with several colors. Then I picked up some of the elements from the challenge, and gathered old diecuts and puffy stickers of them. I also fussy cut some tiny flowers and leaves from patterned paper and used them as embellishments. Here are the close-ups;

昔カットしたカットファイルの残りがあったので、それを窓にしてレイアウトを作ることにしました。まず、窓の周りを何色か使ってミシンをかけました。チャレンジの絵から数種類の要素を選んで古いダイカットやぷっくりステッカーを集め、さらに小さなお花や葉っぱもカットアウトし、エンベリに。クローズアップです♪

It was really fun making this layout, and filling each window. I was able to use a lot of my leftovers too, which made me happy. Thanks so much for visiting, and I hope this challenge helps you to resurrect some of your old stash.

you are MY SUNSHINE (CSI CASE FILE #310 DT Work)

Hi friends! I'm excited to share my mid-month layout for CSI. Here is the CASE FILE;

こんにちは！ CSI の今月二つ目で作ったレイアウトです。こちらがチャレンジ♪

I was inspired by the colors, hearts and banners. I started with cutting out heart shapes and words from paper. I used modeling paste and an heart stencil to create a pattern on the background, but after I painted over them with red paint, it's difficult to see. It's okay though, as I just needed a bit of something. Then I cut three pieces of glittery red string and adhered them vertically to the layout. I placed the cut out hearts, words and the photo. I also added black paper with eyelets and tied a silver string. I hid a journal in one of them. Here are the close-ups;

色とハート、バナーからインスピレーションをもらいました。まず、ハートと英字をペーパーからカットアウトしました。背景にモデペとハートのステンシルで模様付けをしましたが、上から赤で着色したらあまり目立たなくなってしまいました…でも、少しアクセントが欲しかっただけなので良しとしよう(笑) キラキラした赤い糸を3本カットし、背景に縦に貼り付け。そのあとハートと英字と写真を並べました。黒いペーパーにアイレットをつけ、シルバーの糸を結んだものも二つ加えました。一つにはジャーナルを隠しています。クローズアップです。

PURE HEART (CSI CASE FILE #309 DT Work)

Hi! Time passes by so fast!! The first CASE FILE of CSI this month is this challenge.

こんにちは！もう2月なんて早すぎますね！早速今月の CSI一つ目のチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介します。

I was inspired by the colors, birds, flowers and leaves. I did a lot of fussy cutting in this layout, I mean a lot! All the leaves, flowers, birds and butterflies are cut out from patterned paper. I didn't use any other embellishments in this layout! I want to add a little more somthing, so I pulled out my stencil and modeling paste to create a pattern on the background. I also layered a gauze cloth under my photo. I drew a big heart and adhered all the leaves over the lines. I only adhered part of the leaves so they would create dimention. I added foam under the photo and flowers so they would pop up. Here are some close-ups;

色と鳥、花、葉っぱからインスピレーションをもらいました。このレイアウトではカットアウトをたくさんしました。本当にたくさん！！(笑) 葉っぱ、お花、鳥、蝶すべてパターンペーパーからカットアウトしています。他にエンベリは使っていません！とは言えもう少し何かを足したかったので、背景にモデペとステンシルで模様付け。写真にもガーゼを重ねました。大きな♡を描いて、その線に沿ってカットアウトした葉っぱを貼り付けました。立体感が出るように、葉全体ではなく一部だけ糊付けしています。写真とお花はポップアップしました。クローズアップです♪
