MAKE *SWEET* happiness

I'm very happy to reveal a layout as an international guest designer for Kraft+ Challenges.
This is the awesome challenge!!

And this is what I chose from my closet!!

I was inspired by all the colors of this bag, and the buckle.
I randomly smudged several colors with oil pastels for the background. I feel like a little kid playing with all these colors...so fun!!

I used a laced ribbon for the buckle and made it like a belt, and placed flowers randomly.

I popped up part of the title, and scattered buttons and enamel dots.

The challenge closes at the end of November. I think there are tons of inspiration in the closet!!
Thanks for visiting:)

happy (DT work)

Hi !! Today's awesom Scrap Our Stash Sketch + (3) Challenge is this one! A lot of layers!! Love it!!

These are what I used. LIST1 - Diecut, LIST2 - Envelope, LIST3 - Flowers.
Since 'flowers' is one of the choices I made, I decided to use pictures of my daughter in a cosmos field. Cosmos is one of my favorite flowers, and I love taking pictures of them when they bloom. I wanted to make this layout elegant and dreamy, so I cut out flowers, butterflies and other sweet parts from the paper and popped some up. Here are some details;

I made a tag and put it inside the envelope.(And you can always keep a secret journal behind it!)

The challenge is due until October 29th. This sketch + 3 challenge opens the door to new ideas so I love it! Just grab your Stash and start scrappin' !!
Thanks you for visiting:)

LOVE (DT work)

Today, I'm thrilled to introduce my layout for the Oct.15th Challenge of Stuck?! Sketches.
This is the lovely sketch!

I did something new! I put 4 pictures in one page! That's really rare for me. I thought of placing something else, but I decided to use all 4 photos, by printing them half size:) I chose this paper full of hearts. The color matches perfectly with the pictures. It's my daughter playing soccer in the soccer field.
I spread a little bit of gesso on some parts of the background. Although it doesn't show much, I shaded off some of the hearts. I matted the pictures with layers of paper and frames, cut out bits and pieces and placed them around the photo. Here are the details.

I popped up some pieces;

EXPLORE (DT work)

Hello!! Today I'm revealing my DT work for Scrap Our Stash.
This is the October's Book Inspired Stash Challenge:

I was inspired by the title, and I decided to use a picture of when we joined a tour of an aircraft hangar. Watching the maintenance of the aircraft was very exciting! The children had so many questions to ask, and were fascinated by all the processes. My daughter was writing down the details in her little notebook, and this challenge reminded me of that day. She was like a detective, investigating:)

I wanted to use several pictures, so I made a flap so I can put extra photos inside. I tied the page with a string, which is one of the challenges as well.

I changed the color of the pictures to tone down the colors. It matches better with the paper I used. I put copper glitter on the title and the bird cage for an extra aged look.

This is how it looks inside:

The book challenge is open until October 29th. I just can't wait to see everyone else's inspiration!
Thank you for visiting:)

The happiest PERSON IS THE PRETTIEST (DT work)

Hello!! Today I'm so excited to reveal my very first layout as a DT member of Stuck?! Sketches. I love the sketches here, so I'm so honored to be one of the members:)

Here is the awesome October 1st Sketch Challenge!

This is a picture of my daughter feeding the toucan at the flowers and birds garden. My daughter is allergic to many animals, but she loves animals...She loves hugging dogs, cats, rabbits but most of the time she ends up sneezing, scratching all over herself, and having red eyes. To be honest, I don't want her to get too close to them because of the symptoms, but they don't seem to stop my daughter from loving them. Anyways, this day she wanted to feed the toucan. She was a bit scared at first, overwhelmed by the long beak, but soon she got used to it and was able to feed it.

I wanted to make a warm loving atmosphere. I used a chickenwire template and colored it with an red watercolor pencil. I loved the look, so I decided to use red as the accent of this layout. I used red thread around the circles in the sketch, and wrote over the diecut with red for the title.

Layering some paper under the photo, and popping up the diecuts created dimention. I fussy cut hearts in several sizes and scattered enamel dots, dew drops, and rhinestones. Here are some close-ups;
