CAPTURE (Colorful Creations DT Work)

Today's layout is based on the Word Challenge of Colorful Creations.

今日のレイアウトは、 Colorful Creations　のワード・チャレンジに基づいて作ったのものです♪

 Inspired by a Word Challenge.

Our words for this month are SCHOOL, PRIMARY COLORS, FUN and PLAY.  Please incorporate one of these words into your project.  It can be in the way of the title, picture, pattern paper, etc… let creativity be your guide!

今回の言葉は、学校、原色、楽しみ、遊びです。この言葉をヒントにレイアウトを作ってください。タイトルでもいいし、写真、パターンペーパーの色や模様でも！正解はありません！自由につくってみてくださいね。

I was inspired by the words SCHOOL, FUN and PLAY. These are pictures of my daughter and her friends in Kidzania. Kidzania is a place where children can experience various jobs, and the first job they chose was a Photographer. They were taught how to use the big camera, and asked to walk around to take pictures. In Kidzania, only the kids can join and experience the jobs, so the parents have to wait outside. It was a big step for them because they were treated like grown-ups, and they even recieved Kidzania money and saved it in the bank account! So fun!!

私は、学校、楽しみ、遊び、という3つの言葉からヒントをもらって作りました。これは、娘が友達とキッザニアに行った時の写真です。キッザニアは、日本の方は知っていると思いますが、子供たちがさまざまな 職業体験が出来るところです。まず最初の職業はカメラマン！大きな一眼レフの使い方を教えてもらい、お題に沿って写真を撮るという体験。大人は参加できないので、親は近くでそっと見ています。この頃まだ幼稚園生だった娘たちにとって、これは大きな一歩！その上、キッザニア内で使えるお金をもらい、銀行に貯金！楽しすぎますーー！

I wanted to make a chic layout, not too childish. I started with spraying brownish ink on the background. After it had dried, I randomly stamped with several stamps.

大人への第一歩？ということで、今回は子供っぽくなりすぎないように少しシックな色合いに。まず背景に茶系のミストをスプレー。乾いた後、数種類のスタンプをぽんぽん押してみました。

I cut out frames and other shapes from paper and layered them under and around the pictures.

ペーパーからフレームや色んな形を切り出し、写真の下や周りに飾りました。



To add dimention, I tore some strips and washi tape and layered them on the upper left and lower right corner. I also used some acetate banners, black rhinestones and metal parts for embellishments.

少し立体感を出すために、ペーパーやマステをびりびりやぶいて細長いボーダーを何本か、左上と右下に重ねて貼りました。アセテートのバナーと黒のラインストーン、メタルパーツも使いました。



In most of my layouts I use bright colors, but I love how this turned out. I think the atmosphere sort of expresses the independence of children!

LOVE to do nothing (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

 
 

Hello! The brand-new Sketch Challenge from Scrap Our Stash has been revealed!
Rule: Create a layout inspired by this sketch and add a stash item from your stash that starts with each letter of the word TRAVEL.
I chose T-Thread, R-Rub-on, A-Arrow, V-Violet, E-Enamel Dots, L-Liquid Pearls

Scrap Our Stash の新しいスケッチチャレンジです！
ルール：スケッチ＋TRAVEL の頭文字で始まるアイテムを使ってレイアウトを作ること。
私は、糸、ラブオン、矢印、バイオレット色、エナメルドッツ、リキッドパールを使いました。こちらがスケッチです♪

 

I used this lovely collection from Simple Stories.The colors and patterns are so pretty that I couldn't help playing around with it for some time. After a while, I decided at last which side of paper to use. This happens when you want to use both sides, and you regret not buying 2 sheets each. I followed the sketch and placed the squares. I did a lot of fussy cutting because there were so many cute elements like the little houses, words and so on. It was fun placing all the cut out pieces on each section. I popped up the houses and the big letters for the title.

Simple Stories のコレクションを使いました。色やペーパーの柄が可愛くて、しばらくあーでもないこーでもないと迷いに迷ってやっと、どれを使うか決められました。両面どちらも使いたいときって本当に迷います！2枚ずつ買えば良かったーーと思いますよね…今回もスケッチに忠実に、四角を配置しました。小さなお家や英字など、可愛い柄がたくさんあったので、切り抜いてそれぞれの四角に配置するのが楽しかったです♪お家とタイトル用の大きい文字は、ポップアップしました。

 

 

I dotted liquid pearls around some ot the cut out pieces.

 

切り抜いた絵柄の周りに、リキッドパールをちょんちょん乗せました。

 



 

Pretty rub-on flowers and hearts matched perfectly;) I also used wooden buttons and arrows, and finished by scattering enamel dots.

お花とハートのラブオンが、ペーパーにぴったり！木のボタンや矢印を加え、エナメルドッツを散らして出来上がり♪

 

 

I love how this turned out! This picture was taken the night of my daughter's birthday. She's in her pajamas, ready to go to bed but refused to move because she didn't want to let go of Rody. Cute!

loved (Stuck?! Sketches DT Work)

 

Hi!! The mid-month sketch from Stuck?! Sketches has been revealed! Here is the lovely sketch:)

こんにちは！Stuck?! Sketches から新しいスケッチが発表されました！こちらがスケッチ♪

As in the sketch, I decided to use flowers...a lot of them!! I found these cute pics of my daughter wearing a bunny costume, so I picked a pink patterned paper. Pink is always a lovely color for bunnies or girls, right? :) I sprayed some gold ink on the background to add a bit of interest. Then I matted the photo with yellow tissue paper.

スケッチにあるように、お花をたくさん使うことにしました。ウサギの衣装を着ている娘の写真をみつけたので、それに合うピンクのパターンペーパーを選びました。ピンクはうさぎにも女の子にも合う色ですよね♡　ピンクのペーパーそのままでは普通なので、ゴールドのインクをスプレーしました。写真の下には黄色のお花紙を敷きました。

 

And now, the fun part! I have a box full of flowers so I started digging in. Big flowers, small flowers, fabric, paper, various kinds.

 

さて、次は楽しいお花選び！！箱いっぱいに入っている花から選ぶのはワクワクします♪　大きい花、小さい花、布、紙、などなど色んな種類を選択。

 



 

I fussy cut some butterflies, tied a ribbon on the tag, and decorated around with heart shaped stickers. Some glittery and one puffy. I used a glittery title too. I also used a tab and chipboard with words for accents.

 

蝶をペーパーから何匹か切り出して、タグにリボンを結び、周りをハートのステッカーで飾りつけ。ハートは、キラキラしたものやぷっくりしたものを使いました。タイトルもキラキラのものを使いました。アクセントに、タブとチップボードの英字を飾って出来上がり。

COMFORT LOVE LAUGH PLAY (Colorful Creations DT Work)

  
 

Hi scrappy friends:) Today I have a layout based on the challenge from Colorful Creations. The Challenge is 'Fussy Cutting'!!

スクラッパーの皆さん、こんにちは♪　今日は、Colorful Creations　からこちらのチャレンジ！Fussy Cutting とは、スクラップブッキングの場合はペーパーから柄や絵を切り抜くこと！

 

Fussy cutting is something I do a lot, so I decided to fussy cut a lot more than usual. I started with several borders with different colors. I cut them into pieces, a little bigger than the pictures. Before I sticked them down, I sprayed some ink on the background that has similar colors. I matted the pictures with tissue paper, and placed them on top of the borders. I fussy cut the words (title) and butterflies too, and decorated them around the photos. I also added some flowers. Here are some close-ups;

ペーパーから柄を切り抜くのはほとんど毎回するのですが、今回はいつもよりたくさんすることに。まず、色んな色のボーダーをパターンペーパーから切りだし、それをまた写真より少しだけ長めにカット。貼る前に、似た色のインクを背景にスプレーしました。写真にお花紙を重ねてボーダーの上に貼り、英字(タイトル)と蝶も切り抜いて写真の周りに飾りました。お花も少し加えて出来上がり！

 

The pictures are of my daughter, lying on the bed, making faces and not wanting to get up. I wanted to use multiple photos, so this layout was perfect for it:)

 

写真は、娘がベッドでゴロゴロ、なかなか起きたがらず変顔をしていたときのものです。この写真を使うときは、複数枚で作りたかったので、今回のチャレンジにぴったりでした♪

sunshine (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

 

Hi! It's my turn to reveal my take on the Tic Tac Toe Challenge from Scrap Our Stash! I Chose the middle row down; Simple Stories, Polaroid and Brads.

こんにちは！Scrap Our Stash の新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介させていただきます♪
私は真ん中の縦の列、Ｓｉｍｐｌｅ　Ｓｔｏｒｉｅｓ、ポラロイド、ブラッズを選びました。

 

I had this paper from Simple Stories for a while, and when I chose this picture, I immediately thought this is the one! I love my daughter's sweet smile, it makes me smile too. She is my sunshine:)

Simple Stories のこのペーパーはしばらく前からあったのですが、この写真を選んだ時、このペーパーだ！と即決。娘の笑顔はまさに太陽！こっちも笑顔になります♡

I sprayed gold mist on the paper (no gesso this time), and it's hard to tell from the picture but it's shimmery and shiny. I cut 4 thin strips of paper from my stash and made a frame around the layout. One the 4 corners, I put brads for accents. I also hand stitched inside the frame with orange thread.

まず、ペーパーにゴールドのミストをスプレーしました（今回はジェッソなしです）。写真ではわかりにくいのですが、スプレーしたところは少しキラキラしています。次に、端切れペーパーから4本、細いボーダーをカットし、フレームのように並べて貼り、四隅にブラッズをアクセントにつけました。オレンジの糸でぐるりとステッチもしました。

 

I had some cute polaroid shaped frame chipboards so I decided to use them as main embellies. I also framed the picture with several colors of washi tape. I just tore some strips and placed them like a frame. In the middle of the frame, I popped up the picture. For embellishments and the title, I used some stickers and chipboard. I love how summery and bright this became. Here are some close-ups;

ポラロイド型の可愛いチップボードフレームがいくつかあったので、それらをメインのエンベリにしました。写真の周りも、フレームのようにマステで飾りました。何本かちぎって、重ねて貼っています。真ん中の写真はポップアップしています。他のエンベリやタイトルは、ステッカーやチップボードを使いました。夏っぽくカラフルに仕上がったので、お気に入りに♡

hello sunshine (Stuck?! Sketches DT Work)

Hi there! Stuck?! Sketches has come out with a new sketch for August! Here is the sketch:)

こんにちは！Stuck?! Sketches　の新しいスケッチが発表されましたよ！こちらがスケッチ♪

 

Another beautiful sketch, isn't it? I love it!
I used some pictures of my daughter playing miniature golf in Guam. It was her first time to use a putter and although it seemed too long, she enjoyed playing:) Actually, she was pretty good!

またまた素敵なスケッチですよね♪
グアムでパターゴルフをしている娘の写真を使いました。パターを握るのは初めて！しかも少し長すぎ？？それでも楽しんで、意外にも上手！

I spread some gesso first, to lighten up the background and to make the paper firm, because I was going to use a lot of ink and medium. I used several colors of  texture paste and stencils to create some patterns. After it had dried, I put pink, yellow and blue ink on top of it.

まずジェッソを背景に塗りました。これは、背景を明るくするためと、ペーパーをしっかりさせるためです。たくさんメディウムやインクを使うときは、ジェッソをしっかりと塗っておくとペーパーが破れたりせずしっかりとしてくれます。ジェッソの上に、テクスチャペースト数色とステンシルを使って模様をつけました。しっかりと乾いた後、同色のインクで着色しています。

 

I layered some diecuts and strips of paper and popped up the title. 

 

ダイカットやハギレペーパーを重ね、タイトルをポップアップ。

 

 

 

I cut out some quotes from paper, and put them on the journaling space.  Also, I scattered pink, blue and yellow sequins on the background for accents.

ペーパーから英字を切り出し、ジャーナルがわりに。アクセントに、ピンク、ブルー、イエローのスパンコールを散らしました。

お花のダイカットとタグ。

 

It became busier than I expected, but I like the bright colors of this layout;)

思ったより派手になりましたが、この明るいカラーがお気に入り！
