bon voyage (CSI COLD CASE #286 DT Work)

Hi friends! This is my new layout made with the COLD CASE FILE of  CSI . This is a bonus challenge for those who want to try to resurrect some of their old stash. 

こんにちは！CSI の新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介します。このレイアウトは、眠っている古い材料を復活させて消費したい人のためのボーナスチャレンジです。

I used old paper for the background that matches the colors of the challenge and fussy cut out of another old paper that I had for ages.Ｉpulled out some of my distress inkpads, and inked the edges of all the cut out pieces. For embellishments, I used several metal charms, stickers and alphas, all that I had for a very long time. Here are the close-ups;

チャレンジの色に合った古いペーパーの一枚を背景にし、もう一枚からたくさんカットアウトしました。ディストレスインクを何色か引っ張り出してカットアウトしたものをインクで汚して古びた雰囲気に。エンベリにはメタルチャーム、ステッカー、アルファベットなど、すべて長い間眠っていたものを使いました。

I'm happy that I was able to use up a lot of my stash, and it was nice creating a vintage kind of layout for a change, since my layouts nowadays are all about colors. Thank you so much for visiting, and I hope you are inspired to use up some of your stash too!

happy trip (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

Hi scrappers! Here is my new layout for Scrap Our Stash. I chose the right side of the sketch.  

こんにちは！ Scrap Our Stashの新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介します。私は右のスケッチを選びました。

I chose mint green for the main color and used layers and embellishments of that color. Then I chose gold for accents. The gold paint on the background and the stitching around the edges made the layout more interesting. I included the polca dot patterned paper under the left picture, and numbers below the middle picture. Here are the details;

メインカラーをミント・グリーンにしてペーパーやエンベリを選びました。アクセントにゴールドを使いました。背景のゴールドと周りのステッチがいい感じ！水玉ペーパーを左の写真の下に重ね、数字を真ん中の写真の下に使いました。クローズアップです。

THE BEST SUMMER (CSI CASE FILE #285 DT Work)

Hi! This is my layout for the new case file for CSI. 

こんにちは！CSI の新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトです。

I used all the colors and a SUMMER cutfile. I stitched around the edges of the cutfile after backing them with patterned paper. I chain stitched around the R, which I framed the picture to make it stand out. I painted the background with watercolors and embellished with diecuts, stickers and a wooden flair. Here are the close-ups;

チャレンジの色すべてと、カットファイルを使いました。パターンペーパーを重ね、周りをステッチ。写真をフレームしたRの周りだけチェーンステッチをしてフォーカルポイントに。背景は、水彩絵の具で着色し、ダイカットやステッカー、木のボタンで飾りつけ。クローズアップです♪

live love laugh (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

Hi scrappy friends! This is my layout for the Scrap Our Stash Saturday Cartoon Stash Challenge. 

こんにちは！今月の、Scrap Our Stash カートゥーンチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介します。

I flipped the sketch and used 3 pictures instead of 5. I mostly used yellow on the background, and some more on the cutfile. After I adhered the cutfile and pictures, I fussy cut some butterflies, placed them around the cutfiles and photos and did some hand-stitching like they were flying around. I also stitched the word 'hello' on the tag. I love how it adds interest and dimension.  For embellishments, I added stickers, a flair button and a SQUARE diecut for the journal. Here are the close-ups;

スケッチを左右反転させて使い、写真を5枚ではなく3枚にしました。主に背景に黄色をつかっていますが、カットファイルも着色しています。写真とカットファイルを貼り付けた後、ペーパーから蝶をカットアウトして貼り、飛び回ってるようにステッチをしました。タグの「hello」の文字もステッチし、立体感をプラス。ステッカーやボタン、四角のダイカットにジャーナルを書いて完成！クローズアップです🎵

oh happy day (Let's Get Sketchy DT Work)

Hi Scrappers! This is my last layout for Let's Get Sketchy. Here is the sketch.

こんにちは！Let's Get Sketchy　最後のDTワークです。こちらがスケッチ♪

First I chose which paper to use, and fussy cut a lot out of it. Then I decided to do some mixed media on the background, but I didn't use gesso this time because I knew that I wouldn't use water. I pulled out two stencils and textured paint, created patterns with them and added purple watercolor. I also splashed some yellow. After it had dried, I layered the fussy cut pieces under and over the photo and decorated around them with matching puffy stickers. Then I adhered fussy cut flowers on the top of the layout as in the sketch. Love the colors and texture! Here are some close-ups;

まず、使いたいペーパーを選び、たくさんカットアウトしました。今回の背景は、テクスチャ―ペイントとステンシルがメインで、水はほとんど使わないのでジェッソは塗っていません。2種類のステンシルと2色のテクスチャーペイントで模様をつけ、パープルの水彩絵の具を足しました。イエローのインクも飛ばして背景は完成！乾いた後、カットアウトしたものを写真の下や上に重ね、周りを同コレクションのぷっくりステッカーで飾りつけました。スケッチと同様、上部にカットアウトしたお花を散らして出来上がり！色やテクスチャーがいい感じ♡クローズアップです♪

KISS IT BETTER (White...with 1 DT Work)

Hi! I can't believe that it's already June! (I think I say that every year though, lol.) Time flies, that's for sure. The color of this month's Challenge from White...with 1 is BLUE SHELTER. There's also a sketch too. I rotated the sketch.

こんにちは！もう6月なんて信じられますか？？（毎年言ってますが、笑）今月の、White...with 1　チャレンジの色は「ブルー・シェルター」です。スケッチもあるので合わせてみてくださいね。私はスケッチを180度ひっくり返しました。

I used a stencil and modeling paste to create a soft pattern on the upper half of the background. Then I mixed blue and white acrylic paint and made a soft light blue color. I put some paint on a sponge and patted it over the modeling paste. I used a cutfile designed by Paige Evans on the lower half of the layout. I backed the cutfile with light blue paper and layered two kinds of lace ribbon and sewed them together. After I adhered it, I decorated the cutfile with pearl stickers, matted the photo with cloth and adhered it along with the journal and title. I scattered sequins and little pearls and finished the layout. Here are the close-ups;

まず、ステンシルとモデリングペーストを使ってレイアウトの上半分に模様をつけました。それからアクリル絵の具で薄い水色を作り、スポンジにつけて上からポンポンと着色。下半分にはカットファイルを使いました。後ろに水色のペーパーを貼り付け、2種類のレースを重ねて縫い合わせました。レイアウトに貼り付けた後、パールのステッカーで飾り、写真にガーゼを重ねてジャーナルとタイトルとともに貼りました。最後にスパンコールと小さなパールを散りばめて完成！クローズアップです♪
