little moments (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

 
 

Hi again!! This is my take on the Blend-A-Sketch Challenge from Scrap Our Stash! I used the vertical pattern from the right sketch, and the horizontal pattern from the left. Here are the sketches;

 

またまたこんにちは！今日は、Scrap Our Stash　の新しいチャレンジのＤＴワークです♪　右のスケッチからは縦のパターン、左からは横のパターンを取り入れて作りました。

 

 

These are pictures of my daughter making salad. She seemed so confident and proud, and I definitely want to scrap these little moments.

娘がサラダを作ってくれた時の写真です。自信たっぷりで味見をしながら楽しそうに作ってくれました。こういう瞬間は、絶対にスクラップしておきたい♪
First of all, I spread some clear gesso on the background because I wanted to do a lot of mixed media. I pulled out my stencil and modeling paste and created heart patterns. Then I used some distress crayons and drew a shape, colored inside and around it. I watered down the colors so they will blend nicely together. After it had dried, I machine stitched over the line with orange thread. I popped up the pictures with foam and decorated around them with fussy cut flowers, wooden flairs and sequins. Here are the close-ups;

たくさん着色をしたかったので、まずは背景にクリアジェッソを塗りました。ステンシルとモデリングペーストでハート模様をつけ、ディストレスクレヨンを使って線を描きました。線の中と外をクレヨンで塗ってから水で溶かし、全体に溶け込むようにぼかし、乾いてからオレンジの糸でミシンをかけました。フォームで写真をポップアップし、周りをカットアウトしたお花、木のボタンとスパンコールで飾りつけて完成！
