Hi!! I'm here today to reveal my take on the July 1st Colorful Creations Challenge! Here is the color palette and you also have to add some kind of journaling. Wow, I love these colors and actually use them a lot, so it was quite easy for me to get the idea of the layout I wanted to create.
こんにちは♪ 今日は、Colorful Creations の新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトです。お題は、下のカラーパレットを使ってレイアウトを作ること。それから、ジャーナルを書くこと。このパレットの色は大好きで、よく使う色ばかり！すぐにイメージが浮かんできました。
This is a picture of my daughter supporting her favorite baseball team. Well, she didn't really understand the rules yet, but she was having so much fun, wearing the uniform and yelling 'Go Tigers, go!!'.
娘が、タイガースの応援をしている時の写真です。この時はルールもあまりわかっていなかったのですが、ファンクラブのユニフォームを着て、「行け行けタイガース！！」と叫んで大はしゃぎ(笑)
First, I chose this yellow patterned paper and spread some gesso in the middle. Then I chose the colors from the palette and inked with them on top of the gesso. I used shimmerz, heidi swapp and glimmer mist ink. I also splattered around with the same ink. I drew some balloon shapes on my evergrowing stash papers (I'm sure you all have a lot of leftovers too!!) that matches the layout and cut them out. After I placed and popped up the picture in the middle, I randomly placed the balloons around it and machine stitched them. I'm not so fond of sewing by the way, but the stitching doesn't have to be perfect in my layouts, lol. I used this yellow string that I use quite a lot in my layouts for the balloons. For my journaling, I decided to use my Tepra. I happened to have a pink tape so there! Perfect match! I used two kinds of alpha stickers for the title, and finished it by embellishing the balloons with sequins. Here are some close-ups;
まず黄色ベースのパターンペーパーの中心にジェッソを塗り、その上をパレットの色のインクでランダムに着色してから、同じ色のインクを周りに飛ばしました。たくさんある余りペーパー（皆さんもありますよね、きっと！！）から合う色を選んで、風船の形にカット。真ん中に写真をポップアップして貼り付け、周りにカットした風船をランダムに並べてミシンで縁取りました。ミシンは好きじゃない私ですが、完璧じゃなくても大丈夫(笑) 多くのレイアウトに使っている黄色の紐を今回は、風船の紐として使いました。ジャーナルは、ちょうど色が合うピンクのテープがあったので、テプラで書きました。タイトルは、2種類のステッカーを使っています。最後に、スパンコールで風船を飾って完了！
I didn't use much paper or embellies but I love how this turned out! The challenge is open till July 29th and I hope you will enjoy creating too!
