I love love love summer layouts! So colorful and bright and fun! I hope I can inspire you in some way to create a summer layout ♡

 

In most layouts, I use some kind of mixed media and this one is no exception. I sprayed several kinds of green and yellow ink and splattered some too. I wanted the acetate tree to stand out so I made the colors darker there. I used this picture of my daughter lying on the sandy beach. We were trying to bury her in the sand and she kept on laughing and laughing. She even has a swim cap with her name on! lol. I layered some colorful paper behind and below the picture and put twine around it. I popped up the word laughter and made it the title. I put an acetate word AWESOME too afterwards, but I didn't change the title.
