Making today's layout was a challenge for me...This is the challenge from Colorful Creations!
April 1st challenge : All About ME.  Create a layout using a photo of just you!  Come on from behind the camera!

So...this is the first time making a layout of JUST me!

 

今日のレイアウトを作るのは今までで一番大変でした(笑)　こちらが Colorful Creationsのチャレンジです！

4月1日のチャレンジ：自分だけが写っている写真でレイアウトを作ること。たまには、撮る側ではなく撮ってもらおう！

というわけで、自分だけの写真で作った初めてのレイアウトです！



 

Since I started scrapbooking, I have met a lot of people in crafty places, events, and crop parties. Thanks to the internet, I have met many talented scrappers from various countries too. They have inspired me in so many ways, gave me energy and happiness. I feel blessed that I found something I love, and hope I can provide a little happiness to others in some way too:)

 

スクラップブッキングを始めてから、色んなクラフトのイベントや教室、クロパなどでたくさんの人と出会いました。インターネットのおかげで、世界中のスクラッパーたちとも知り合えました。皆さんから日々、インスピレーションやエネルギーをもらって、今こうして楽しくレイアウトを作ることができています。大好きなことに出会えて本当に幸せだと思います♡　私もみんなに、少しでもいいので幸せのおすそわけが出来たら嬉しいな♪

 

I used a stencil and silver paste to create a soft pattern on the background. To add some color, I cut out and teared some paper and layered them on the left side. For embellishments, I used metal parts, die cuts and flowers. I fussy cut the ampersand and popped it up with foam. I painted the title with deep red ink, and splattered some on the background too. Here are the close-ups;

 

ステンシルとシルバーのペーストを使って、背景に薄く模様をつけ、写真を配置しました。色が少ないので、ポイントに左にペーパーを細長くカットしたりちぎったりして重ね合わせました。メタルパーツやダイカット、お花をエンベリとして飾りました。＆は切り抜いてポップアップしています。タイトルは、えんじ色っぽいインクで着色し、同じインクをところどころに少し飛ばしました。こちらが詳細です♪

 



 

 

 

This was a challenge but a great opportunity to focus on myself, which is not what I often do. I think most scrappers scrap about their loved ones, but I would love to see layouts about them!!

今回は慣れないチャレンジでしたが、普段しない、自分に目を向けることが出来て良かったです。自分だけのレイアウトを作る人はなかなかいないと思いますが、是非作ってみて下さい！楽しみにしています。
