Natsuko's little craft room: cherish (Colorful Creations DT Work)

Hi everyone! I can't believe it's already August!!
This month's first challenge from Colorful Creations is White plus ONE. Create a project using all white and ONE additional color (it can be any color doesn't have to come from a color in the picture).

さて、今月のColorful Creations の一つ目のチャレンジは、White plus ONE です。白と、プラス一色だけ使って作品を作ること。プラスの色は、写真の中にある色でなくても構いません。お好きな色で作って下さいね♪

It's so hot and humid in Japan, so I wanted to choose a color that looks cool...and that's blue:) I used a picture of my daughter lying down, almost asleep. I like how the sunlight is shining on her hair, and I thought this soft atmosphere was perfect for my white and blue layout.

日本は本当に蒸し暑い！なので、涼しい色を求めて…ブルーにしました。娘が寝転んで寝てしまう直線の写真です。太陽の光がいい感じで娘の髪の毛を照らしていて、ふんわりした雰囲気が白とブルーのレイアウトにピッタリ合う！と思って選びました。

I started with spraying different shades of blue ink on the background. I matted some tissue paper underneath the picture, and placed it in the center. Then I surrounded the picture with flowers and leaves; some white, some blue, some paper and some fabric. I twisted the stem and make them stick out here and there for dimention. To add some bling, I used a glittery butterfly and rhinestone circles (I cut it in half and attached them on top of and under the picture). I used a white foam sticker for the title, and I love how it turned out! Quite simple but elegant:) Here are some details;

まず、ブルーのインクを濃淡数種類、背景にスプレーしました。写真の下に白のお花紙を重ね、真ん中に配置。写真の周りを白やブルー、素材は紙や布のお花や葉っぱを使って飾りました。茎はねじってあちこちに飛び出すように貼りつけました。華やかさをプラスするため、キラキラした蝶と、輪になったラインストーンを飾りました。輪を２つにカットし、写真の上下に貼りつけています。タイトルは白いフォームステッカーを使いました。シンプルだけどエレガントなレイアウトに仕上がって満足！！
