YOU Shine LIKE A STAR

 

Today's layout is really bright and festive! This is my layout for Berry71bleu January Challenge.

Here is the moodboard. I was inspired by the bright colors, wreath and feathers.

 

今日のレイアウトは、カラフルでめでたい雰囲気にしてみました！Berry71bleu 1月のチャレンジがこちら。明るい色やリース、羽にインスピレーションを頂きました。

 



 

This photo was taken several years ago, when it was the year of the dragon in Chinese Zodiac. With the background of a dragon, fan and lantern, my daughter wore a Chinese dress costume to match it. She was making poses in front of the camera, enjoying the atmosphere.

I used an orange cardstock for the background. I think it's the first time to use orange except for halloween! I cut a smaller square from pattened paper which I thought was colorful enough to match the picture. To make the picture stand out, I matted the picture with 3 layers of paper and popped it up. I decorated around it with diecut and flocky feathers. This fan is handmade too. I decorated it with diecuts and ribbon. I also used gold stickers, film and a clip for embellishments. Here are some close-ups;

写真は数年前、辰年に撮られたものです。龍や扇子、提灯の背景に、娘はチャイナ服のコスチュームを着て撮りました。その雰囲気が楽しかったみたいで、色んなポーズをとっていました♪

背景にはオレンジを使いましたが、ハロウィンのレイアウト以外で使ったのは始めてかも！背景より少し小さく、写真に負けないくらい派手なパターンペーパーをカットして貼りました。写真を目立たせるため、マット用のペーパーを3枚重ね、ポップアップしました。扇子も、手作りで作ってリボンやダイカットで飾りました。その他にステッカーやフィルム、クリップなどを使っています。

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the first time I joined this challenge, and I realized that most of the layouts are very chic and shabby...so mine might be out of place! lol. Anyways, I enjoyed creating this layout. I love different kinds of challenge:)
