OH SNAP

 

 

Today I combined two Challenges. I used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy! Here is the awesome sketch:)

 

今日は二つのチャレンジを組み合わせて作りました。一つは、Let's Get Sketchy! のこのスケッチ♪

 



 

And got inspiration from  this picture of Pixels and Paper. CRITERIA is a SUMMER theme.

 

もう一つは、Pixels and Paper のこの写真です。テーマは夏。

 



It's winter in Japan, but in Australia, January is the middle month of Summer. It feels a bit weird to make a summer layout at this time of the year for me, but I LOVE summer and I have more summer pics than winter pics:)  I surely enjoyed creating this layout. I was inspired by the summer feel and the girls playing.

To create the background, I used stencils and turquoise paint. I layered paper and gauze under the photo, fussy cut anchors and words and popped some of them up. I also used flairs, ribbons, rhinestones, dew drops and a rudder for embellishments. Here are some close-ups;

日本では冬ですが、オーストラリアでは1月は夏の真っただ中！日本に住んでいる私としては、この時期に夏のレイアウトを作るのは変な感じですが、夏は大好き！だし、冬より夏の写真が大量にあるので、楽しめました♪ 写真の、夏の雰囲気と遊んでいる女の子にインスピレーションを頂きました。

背景は、ステンシルとターコイズの絵の具で模様をつけました。写真の下は、ペーパーとガーゼを重ね、いかりや英字をペーパーから切り出して一部ポップアップしました。その他にエンベリとしてブラッズやりぼん、ラインストーン、デュードロップ、舵などを使いました。
