I made a layout for the January Kraft plus challenge.

The criteria is Kraft + A Bike somewhere on your creation!

 

今日のレイアウトは、Kraft plus challenge のチャレンジです。

お題は…クラフト紙に自転車！

 

 

These are pictures of my daughter on her bike. We went cycling because the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and it was such a beautiful weather.

 

First I sprayed some cherry and gold mist on the background. I was surprised to find this red brownish color in my stash; I can't remember when I last used it. Anyways, it was a perfect match with the wooden embellies, and I had the same color of thread so I decided to do some sewing with it. I tore a patterned paper to make a frame and sewed around. I also distressed the layers of paper under the picture and title (long time since I last did that too!). I popped up the pictures for dimention and decorated around with metal bikes, stickers, film and wooden pieces. Here are some close-ups;

 

娘が自転車に乗っている写真を使いました。桜が綺麗で、天気も最高だったので、みんなでサイクリングに行った時の写真です。

 

まず背景には２種類のミストをシュシュッと。最後いつ使ったのかわからないくらい眠ってた、チェリー色のミスト。他の飾りに合いそうだったので、久しぶりに出してきました。同じ色のミシン糸もあったので、それも使うことに。ペーパーを破ってフレームのようにし、周りをミシンで縫いつけました。写真の下のペーパーもディストレス。これも久しぶりにしました！写真を目立たせるためにポップアップし、メタルパーツやステッカー、フィルム、木のエンベリで飾りつけをして完成。

Today's layout is based on the challenge of My Creative Sketches . Here is the sketch:)

今日のレイアウトは、My Creative Sketches のスケッチチャレンジです♪

 

We went to a soccer field and an event was held next to it, so we went there, wandered around and my daughter found these little chicks♡ She was able to hold them. So cute:)

 

I spread some teal acrylic paint on the background, and layered all the borders. I fussy cut round shapes and butterflies, punched out a fence and for the banner, I used colorful buttons and thread. I popped up the upper picture for dimention. Here are the close ups;

 

娘とサッカー場に行ったとき、グランドの隣でイベントをしていたのでのぞいたら、可愛いひよこたちが♡　動物大好きな娘、手に乗せて喜んでいました♪

 

背景はアクリル絵の具で汚し、その上にボーダーを縦横重ねました。丸い形や蝶はパターンペーパーから切り出し、フェンスはパンチで抜き、バナーのところにはボタンを並べて糸で留めました。上の写真はポップアップさせて、立体的に。

CUDDLY BEARS (DT Work)

 

Hello!! Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays:)
My layout for today is the DT work of Scrap Our Stash. This years first challenge is this Tic Tac Toe Stash Challenge!!

こんにちは！皆さん、お休み満喫してますかー？
今日のレイアウトは、Scrap Our Stash　のＤＴワークです。今年最初のチャレンジはこちら！



This is how it goes;
You must use all three items from any horizontal, vertical or diagonal row. I chose the middle row down, DIE CUT, WINTER THEME and PAPER CLIP. So fun, isn't it?

ルールは、縦・横・斜めいずれかの列にある3つのアイテムを使ってレイアウトを作ること。私は、真ん中の列を縦に、ダイカット、冬のテーマ、ペーパークリップを選びました。

I used a picture of my daughter and her friends:) I think I've mentioned this many times but they have been friends since they were so tiny, and are like brothers and sisters. Such friends are so precious, and I hope they would be BFF!!
They were playing at the park but because it was sooooo cold that day, they decided to cuddle together:) All of them were wearing thick coats and the way they hugged each other was so cute, I had to take a picture♡

娘と娘のお友達の写真を使って作りました。赤ちゃんと幼稚園の頃からの友達で、まるで兄弟のような三人♡　貴重な存在なので、ずっとこの関係が続いてくれるといいなぁ。
この時三人は公園で遊んでいたのですが、あまりにも寒くて、ぎゅーっとくっついていました。その様子がとても可愛くて、思わずパシャリ！

This collection from Crate Paper was perfect for this layout. I used white cardstock for the background and used a 12 inch bubble stencil and light modeling paste and glitter. After drying it, I dabbed some paint. I love the texture and the shiny look (sorry it doesn't show much in the pictures). I machine stitched around the paper (my very first time doing this!! so cool!!! and finally I found use of the sewing machine, lol) and decorated the edges with gold washi tape.

Crate Paper のコレクションが雰囲気にピッタリでした！まずは白バジルを台紙にして、ステンシルとライトモデリングペーストで大小の丸を全体につけました。乾かないうちにグリッターをのせ、乾いてからアクリル絵の具をのせました。写真ではわかりにくいですが、キラキラしています。周りをミシンで縫って、端をマステで飾りました。

 

Some more stitching around the patterned paper (I think I'm going to do this often now, it's so fun♪)

パターンペーパーもミシンで縫い縫い！私縫い物は全然ダメだけど、これは楽しい♪　くせになりそう(笑)

 

I did a lot of layering under the pictures...paper, gauze and die cuts.

写真のマットにはペーパーやガーゼ、ダイカットなどを重ねました。

 

I fussy cut some of the trees and popped some up.

 

ペーパーから木を切り出し、ポップアップ。

SWEET (DT work)

 

 

Happy New Year !!! A brand new year has started again:)
My very first layout this year is the DT work for Stuck?! Sketches .
This is the beautiful sketch!!

あけましておめでとうございます！！また新しい一年が始まりましたね♪
早速ですが、今年最初のレイアウトは、Stuck?! Sketches　のＤＴワークです。こちらがスケッチ♡

 

We received some lovely charms from CHARMS CREATIONS to put in this layout!

今回、CHARMS CREATIONS からエンベリを頂いたので、使わせていただきました♡

 

The first one is a fabric star; It has several layers and I dyed the surface with gold ink to match the other embellies. So cute!!

一つ目は、布でできた星のエンベリ。何枚か重なっていて存在感ばっちり☆他のエンベリと合わせるために、表面をゴールドのインクで染めてみました。いい感じ！

 

The second one is the fabric tab with a script on the surface. I used two of them for my layout. Love the dimention and layer!

二つ目は同じく布で出来たタブで、表面には英字がプリントされています。二つ使いました！この厚みが可愛い♡

 

 

I smudged some gold ink on the background and layered the lace paper, pictures and die cuts.

 

背景をゴールドのインクで少し汚して、レースペーパーや写真、ダイカットを重ねました。

 



 

I stitched the acetate title and popped up the gold stars.

 

アセテートのタイトルはミシンで縫いつけ、星はポップアップ☆

 



 

I love this zip embellishment;) My daughter will always be my baby♡

JOYFUL XMAS (DTwork)

 

Hi! It's already mid December! So fast!! Today's layout is the Sketch + (3) Challenge for Scrap Our Stash. Here is the Challenge, and this is what I used: LIST1 BOW & RED, LIST2 GLITTER & GREEN, LIST3 GOLD

A couple of years ago, we visited a multiple facility in Awaji Island (small island in Hyogo, Japan). It was designed by the world famous architect, Tadao Ando. This picture is in one of the facilities; a huge green house. It was December, so it was decorated for Chrismas and it was sooo beautiful.

I followed the sketch quite faithfully, but instead of using borders, I fussy cut parcels from a chrismas paper, and lined them up. I popped up part of the title so it will stand out. I put gold glitter on the title for a shiny look. For the circle, I hand stitched it with shiny red thread. I fussy cut some bows, holly and a bell and popped some up. I also used flowers and die cut snowflakes. Here are some close-ups;

Hello!!
This layout is based on December 15th Challenge for Stuck?! Sketches.

I love this skech! Very beautiful!!



I used a picture of my daughter when we went to an illumination event in Kobe. It was really magical, like you suddenly wandered inside a fairy tale. My daughter posed in front of the camera, but I totally forgot that she had a blanket wrapped around her shoulder until I printed it out...I remembered it was so cold that day. Well, it looks like a cape so I decided to use it anyway.

I spread a bit of gesso to fade out some of the pink dots, and sprayed some yellow under the title so it will stand out. I also sprayed the same color on the doilies.

 

The banner under the photo is made with washi tape and glittery thread.

 

I matted the photo with many layers of paper and a diecut frame.

 

Flowers, leaves and a pin add elegance♡

 

Layers of lace ribbons and rub-ons :) Love it!!
