Guest Designer for Paige Evans & Silhouette

Hi, scrappers! Today I'm so excited to share 3 projects I made as a guest designer for Paige Evans.
 I love her lovely collections and cut files!

For my first layout, I used Paige's Horizon collection along with the flower frames background cutfile. I flipped over the cut file and backed most of the flowers with patterned paper and some of them with my daughter's pictures.

I hand stitched around the ones with the pictures. I also did some mixed media on the background.

 

My second project is a mini album, using the heart mini album cutfile. I used the Horizon collection and the Pick me up collection for this one. 

 I added stitching around all the hearts.

 

My third project is a 12 inch layout using the fish background cutfile and the Horizon collection. I chose a clear plastic background for this one. After cutting the cutfile, I sprayed several colors of mist and made them like tropical fish. I used light modeling paste, snow tex and glitter for the waves.

Some more modeling paste and stencils for the background. I also splashed some white acrylic paint on the fish.

I fussy cut the wavy patterns and popped up the chipboard words for the title.

CAPTURE (White...with 1 DT Work)

Hi Scrappy friends! Time for a new challenge! The color for October's White...with 1  is CITRUS COMBO! Plus, there's a sketch to go with it.

スクラッパーの皆さん、こんにちは！新しいチャレンジの発表です♪ White...with 1 の今月の色は、シトラス　コンボです。スケッチもあるので合わせて作ってみてね！

This is a picture of my daughter when she made cookies with rice flour. She was so proud of herself since she made it without my help, and actually it tasted very good!

I had a lot of cooking themed stamps, so I used them as diecuts. I stamped them on white cardstock and fussy cut them. I popped some of them up to add dimention. Instead of using a lot of paper, I added texture on the background with a stencil and modeling paste. I colored over some of it, and splattered some more paint around it. I layered a piece of cloth under the photo for a homemade look and added strips of paper, stickers and a chipboard title. Here are the close-ups;

娘が米粉でクッキーを作った時の写真です。私の助けを借りず、全部自分一人で作ったことに大満足！とても嬉しそうでした！味もおいしかったです♡

クッキングテーマのスタンプがたくさんあったので、ダイカットとして使うことに。白いカードストックにスタンプしてカットアウトしました。立体感を出すのにいくつかはポップアップ。今回は、ペーパーをあまり使わず、ステンシルとモデペで背景に模様付けし、着色しました。周りにもペイントを飛ばしています。写真の下には薄い布を重ねて手作り感を出し、細いボーダー、ステッカー、チップボードのタイトルを加えて完成！クローズアップです。

I didn't use much embellishments for this layout but I love how this turned out. I'm also happy that I was able to use the stamps that I hadn't touched for so many years!

このレイアウトにはエンベリをあまり使いませんでしたが、シンプルで気に入っています。長らく放置していたスタンプを使うこともできたし満足！

LALALA (CSI CASE FILE #295 DT Work)

Hi!! Today I'm sharing my layout made with the mid-month challenge from CSI. 

こんにちは！今日は、 CSI　の二つ目のチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介します。

I was inspired by the piano, clovers and colors from the picture. First I painted the background with red and green watercolors and let it dry. Then I cut out 4 heart shapes from vellum, added sequins underneath and machine stitched them to the background to create a clover. To make it stand out, I colored the outline. I fussy cut doilies, hearts and sheet music and layered them along with the photos. I also used stickers, wooden pieces, a tag, an acetate butterfly, enamel dots and some more sequins for embellishments. Here are the close-ups;

絵の中のピアノ、クローバー、色からインスピレーションをもらいました。まず、背景を赤と緑の水彩絵の具で着色し、乾かしました。次にヴェラムをハート型に4枚カットし、スパンコールを中に入れてクローバーのように配置、ミシンで縫い付けました。目立たせるためにさらに絵の具で淵を塗っています。ドイリー、ハート、楽譜をカットアウトし、写真に重ねて貼り付けました。さらにステッカー、木のパーツ、タグ、蝶、エナメルドッツ、スパンコールなどで飾りつけ。クローズアップです♪

BACK 2 PRESCHOOL (CSI CASE FILE #294)

Hi! I'm back to share my new layout made with the new challenge from CSI! 

こんにちは！CSIの新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介します。

I used a cutfile designed by Paige Evans. I truly LOVE her cutfiles! I backed it with patterned paper with the colors from the scene. Instead of using a white background, I decided to use black cardstock. As it seemed too black, I sprayed some pearly ink to soften the black a bit, and splattered white acrylic paint. I punched out some buttons and embellished around the pictures with yellow string. There was no room for journaling, so I wrote it directly on the background with a white pen. Here are the details;

Paige Evans がデザインしたカットファイルを使用。Paigeのカットファイルは可愛いものが多くて大好き！まずチャレンジに合う色のパターンペーパーを使い、カットファイルに重ねました。背景にはいつもの白ではなく黒を使うことに。真っ黒なので、パールインクをスプレーして色を和らげてから白のアクリル絵の具を散らしました。ボタンをパンチし、黄色の紐と一緒に写真の周りに飾りつけ。ジャーナルの場所がなかったので、白のペンで直接書き込みました。クローズアップです。

happy new paths (white...with 1DT Work)

Hi Scrappers! I'm back with a new layout made with a new challenge from White...with 1! This month's color is.....RAINBOW!! Yay! my favorite!!

こんにちは！今日は、White...with 1　の新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトを紹介します。今月の色は…レインボー！やったー！大好きなカラフル！

I started with a cutfile designed by Paige Evans. I used the inside pieces of the cutfile as templates, and cut out rainbow colors. After I adhered all the pieces, I used watercolors to add a little more interest to the background. I cut two thin strips of paper and put them on the top and bottom of the layout. Under the photo I layered a cloth and embellished around it with fussy cut pieces that matched the color. Also, I lined the edges of the cutfile pieces with color pencils to make it stand out. Here are the close-ups;

まずは、Paige Evansのカットファイルの中身の部分をテンプレートにして、レインボーカラーのペーパーをカットし貼ってから、周りを水彩絵の具で着色しました。細いボーダーを2本カットし、レイアウトの上下に貼り付け。写真の下にはガーゼを重ね、周りをカットアウトした同色のお花などを飾りました。最後に、カットファイルのペーパーの周りを色鉛筆で縁取り、目立たせました。クローズアップです♪
