Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!

I didn't know about this day (sadly, we don't have this in Japan), but I realized there are many events going on! So I got all my paper and stash and made a layout based on this challenge:)

 

ナショナル・スクラップブッキング・デーというものがあるのを初めて知りました。アメリカでは色んなイベントが開催されています！！オンラインで参加しようと思ったら、時差が…なので、何日か猶予のあるチャレンジに参加してみました。

The SOS Challenge:

Create a layout using one PRE-SELECTED stash item of your choice for each letter in the word STASH. 

Each letter has (3) pre-selected stash items for you to choose from:

PRE-SELECTED STASH LIST:

                                                    S ~ Sequins, Staples, or Stickers

                                                    T ~ Tags, Tape, or Transparency

                                                    A ~ American Crafts, Ampersand(&),or Arrow

                                                    S ~ Stencil, Stick Pins, or Striped Print

                                                    H ~ Hashtag (#), Heart(s) or Hemp (cord)

 

 

The ScrapRoom Challenge:

Create a layout inspired by one of the sketches below, created by the TSR  Design Team members.  You can flip, rotate, create a 2 page layout, etc, as long as we can tell what sketch you used to create your page.

This is my layout. I used

S~Stickers (title) T~Tape (washi tape) A~ Ampersand S~Striped Print (paper) H~Hemp (cord)

and Sketch #1

 

まず、ＳＴＡＳＨのアルファベットにある材料を選んで使います。私は、ステッカー、テープ、＆、ストライプ、紐を使いました。そしてスケッチは1番目を選びました。

                                                  



 

I used my daughter's picture (as usual!). I love how she blends in with the cosmoses blooming behind her. Here are some close-ups;

 

いつものように娘の写真！背景のコスモスがとてもきれいで、お気に入り♡

 

Lots of layers and bright colors...

 

色んなペーパーを重ね、明るい色を使いました。

Tiny sweet rub-ons scattered in the background..I love this!!

小さなラブオンを背景に散りばめました。これ、いい感じ♡

Today's layout is based on the April sketch of My Creative Sketches.

Here's the sketch:

 

今日はMy Creative Sketches　の4月のスケッチで作ったレイアウトです！

こちらがスケッチです♪　今回はかなり忠実に？？

 



 

I used pale tone colors this time. White, pink, yellow and light blue. Wooden embellies are a great match to the colors...

 

いつもと違って、今回は、白、ピンク、黄色、水色などのペールトーンを基調に。木のエンぺりは、ニュートラルなカラーと合います♡

 I popped up the title...
タイトルはポップアップしました。

Black spices up the neutral colors...
黒は全体を引き締めます！

 

I used a template and acrylic paint for the background, and fringed the heart with a black pen:)

背景は、テンプレートを使ってアクリルで塗りました。周りを黒のペンで縁取って強調。

 







 

I also drew stitches on both sides...and some chipboard hearts.

両サイドにも黒でステッチ。それからハートのチップボードも。

Another layout for Stuck?! Sketches .This is the April 15th fabulous sketch!!

Stuck?! Sketches 4月15日のスケッチでレイアウトを作りました♪

 

 

I played with a lot of colors this time:) For the background, I sprayed blue and pink ink! A

combination I usually don't try. I layered a lot of stash paper, chipboard, stickers and a pin.

Here are some close-ups;

 

今回は色で遊びました。背景は、普段使わない組み合わせ…ブルー×ピンクのインクをスプレーしました。色んな端切れペーパー、チップボード、ステッカー、ピンなどを組み合わせて飾りました。

Today's layout is based on a wonderful sketch from Stuck?! Sketches.

 

今日のレイアウトは、Stuck?! Sketches　のスケッチで作りました。



 

 

The picture is my daughter stretching her hands up. So, from that image, I decided to make a layout with this theme; Dream and Hope. I used the flowers, lace paper, ribbons, rhinestones and pearls to make a dreamy atmosphere, and the metal bird, butterflies, and diecuts for hope. I also scattered some dewdrops and acrylic paint so the pink paper won't stand out too much. I put some green paper on two sides for the same reason. I really like how it turned out :)

手を伸ばしている娘の写真からイメージしたテーマ、夢と希望！そんな雰囲気にしてみました。お花、レースペーパー、リボン、ラインストーン、パールなどは夢をイメージ、メタルの鳥、蝶、ダイカットは希望をイメージして使いました。ピンクの背景を和らげるために、デュードロップとアクリル絵の具も散りばめました。同じ理由で、グリーンのペーパーも少し足しています。なかなかいい感じ♡

Spring

My second work as the guest designer for Scrap Our Stash is this Sketch +(3) Challenge.

I used Jillibean Soup from LIST 1, Kraft from LIST 2, and Lined Paper from LIST 3.

The colors of this picture; my daughter and cherry blossom were a perfect match with the paper. Very Springish !! I cut out some doilies and phrases and layered them with other pieces of paper. I cut some slits and put a ribbon through it to create the circle as in the sketch ; and popped up alphas to hide the slits.  I scattered some dew drops and rhinestones for a little sparkley look.

写真の色とペーパーの雰囲気がピッタリだったので、娘と桜の写真を使うことにしました。とっても春らしい！！ドイリーや英字をペーパーから切り出して、他のペーパーと重ねています。スケッチの円は、ペーパーにスリットを入れてリボンを通して描き、スリット部分をアルファベットで隠しました。キラキラした雰囲気を出すため、デュードロップやラインストーンを散りばめました。



The challenge is open until April 29th. I always struggle which items to use, but because of the regulations, you can come up with a new idea every time!! So fun!!

I'm thrilled today to show my work as the Guest Designer for PIXELS and PAPER challenge blog.

今日は、PIXELS and PAPER challenge blog　での、ゲストデザイナーとしてのレイアウトを紹介します♪

This is the inspiration photo for April. The Criteria is VINTAGE style.　Isn't this lovely?

こちらの写真が4月のチャレンジです。テーマはビンテージ・スタイル。素敵でしょ？

For the background, I chose this lacy paper and misted some shades of green. I wanted to create a vintage style with some elegance, so I embossed the two diecuts; one around the photo and another below with antique gold powder. Chic colored flowers, lace paper,  ribbon, crystals, and a pin. They are all my favorite embellishments, and I think they look gorgeous together ! I used rub-ons for the title and the butterfly. The color was a perfect match with the mist I sprayed in the background.
I love this picture of my daughter and her friend. They look so cute together and I hope this will become a precious childhood memory for them.

まず台紙には、周りがレースになったペーパーを選んでグリーン系のミストを何種かスプレーしました。エレガントな雰囲気にしたかったので、ダイカットはアンティークゴールドのパウダーでエンボスしました。シックな色のお花、レースペーパー、リボン、クリスタル、ピン、どれもお気に入りのエンベリで、このレイアウトの雰囲気にピッタリ！タイトルと下の蝶はラブオンを使っています。背景のミストのグリーンと色がこれまたピッタリ！
写真は、娘と娘の友達です。二人は赤ちゃんの頃から大の仲良し♡　二人が大人になっても、素敵な思い出として残せるといいな。
