I made a layout with my daughter's picture. Active as ever !! I used the colors in the picture, sky blue, pink, green and red. It doesn't show much, but I used a film mask and sprayed it with blue mist for the background. I layered several bits and pieces of paper, and used chipboard and film embellies, a ribbon, and scattered dot stickers. Simple but colorful. Here are some details.

 

今回も、娘の写真を使って作りました。いつも通りアクティブ！！写真にある色、水色、ピンク、緑、赤の材料を使いました。あまりわかりませんが、背景にはフィルムのマスクに青いミストをしています。色んな種類のペーパーを重ね、チップボードやフィルム、りぼん、ドットのステッカーで飾ってシンプルだけどカラフルに。

Today I'm sharing a layout of mine as the Scrap Our Stash Guest Designer for April !!

I was so excited when I was invited; I really love the challenges here.

This is the April's Book Inspired Stash Challenge !!

今日は、Scrap Our Stash　の4月のゲストデザイナーとしてのレイアウトを紹介します。
ここのチャレンジ大好き♡　なので、招待されたときは大興奮(笑)
こちらが4月のチャレンジです。
ブックカバーのイラストから受けたイメージと、雲を２つ以上使ってレイアウトを作ること。

The clouds and the fun illustration caught my attention first. I decided to use a picture of my daughter, lying down on the grass and gazing the clouds. She's full of ambition so I wanted to make a colorful and fun atmosphere...and a little dreamy. I took inspiration from the background and used metal parts. I distressed the edges of the paper and cut-out pieces of paper, and popped up the title for dimension. I dropped some white acrylic paint to make it a little dreamy.

楽しいイラストと雲を見て、芝生の上に寝転がって雲を見ている娘の写真を使うことに。好奇心旺盛な娘なので、カラフルで楽しい、そして少し夢見がちな雰囲気を出したいと思いました。本のイラストに似たような形のメタルパーツをエンベリとして使いました。ペーパーの周りをディストレスして、タイトルをポップアップで立体的に♪　そして、全体に白いアクリル絵の具を飛ばしてふんわりとした雰囲気に。

I thought I wouldn't be able to make it this month, but I made it the last minute !!

This is the Scrap Our Stash Sketch + (3) Challenge for March.

 

今月はもう間に合わないかと思いましたが…何とか滑り込みセーフ！！

こちらが3月のScrap Our Stash Sketch + (3) Challenge です。 

 



 

 

I used Gold (LIST 1), Hearts (LIST 2), Ink (LIST 3).

The picture is my daughter and her grandma, making mini cakes together. They have a special bonding when it comes to making things; cooking, baking, knitting, sewing...My mother is so much better than me in those areas, and much more patient.

 

それぞれのリストから1つ以上選んで、スケッチに基づくレイアウトを作ります。

私は、ゴールド、ハート、インクを選びました。

写真は、娘とおばあちゃんが一緒にミニケーキを作っているときのものです。何かを作るとき、二人はとっても仲良し！料理、お菓子作り、編み物、縫い物・・・どれも私より断然上手な母。そして私より忍耐強い母(笑)

 

I sprayed gold ink on the background and the doily, although it seems a bit more like yellow in the picture. I used modeling paste and a mask for the hearts, and put some glitter on top. To express the love between the two, I used a lot of hearts here and there. The title and the banner is popped up, and I inked the butterflies with red paint. Warm and lovely!

 

背景とレースペーパーに、ゴールドインクをミストしました（写真では黄色っぽく見えますが）。浮き出たハートは、モデリングペーストとマスクを使い、上からグリッターをのせています。二人の仲の良さを表すために、色んなハートを使いました。タイトルとバナーはポップアップして、蝶は赤い絵の具で着色しました。温かくて可愛らしい雰囲気に！！

My layout was featured in My Creative Scrapbook !!
Most of my recent layouts were very colorful, but this one is my favorite style, shabby chic.
It's an honor to be chosen in different sites, it keeps me going on :)

The March challenge of Scrap Our Stash is this one !!
Scrap Our Stash 3月のチャレンジはこちら！

I immediately fell in love with the colors :) So bright and colorful, and girly♡ I love the combination of pink and green, so I chose these pictures of my daughter wearing pink, playing in a park full of green. I cut the paper like a frame, and inked the edges with greenish ink. I layered several pieces of paper, and scattered cut-out pieces for embellies. The title and hearts are the required gold embellishments for the challenge. Here are some details;

ます第一に色に惹かれました！明るくカラフルで、女の子っぽい♡　ピンクと緑の組み合わせも大好きなので、ピンクの服を着て、緑いっぱいの公園で遊んでいる娘の写真を使うことにしました。
ペーパーをフレームのようにカットして、淵を緑っぽいインクで着色しました。色んなペーパーを重ねたり、切り出してエンベリにしたりしています。チャレンジの一つの「金色を使う」は、タイトルとハートにしました。

Here is a layout that I made based on the February sketch from  My Creative Sketches .

My Creative Sketches の2月のスケッチでレイアウトを作りました。

こちらがスケッチです。

 

 

I decided to use my daughter's picture when we went to Okinawa. It was January, and usually it's very cold in the mainland of Japan, but in Okinawa it's nice and warm. My daughter was enjoying every moment of it, and I love how happy she looks in this picture.

 

沖縄に旅行に行った時の娘の写真を使いました。1月で、本州は寒い時期ですが、沖縄は温かくて気持ちのいい気候！気持ち良さそうにしている娘の顔がとても幸せそうで、大好きな写真です。

 

I sprayed some green and yellow mist and used modeling paste and a mask over it to create the background. I also added some glitter for a sparkly look. I love this loop; I covered it with copper glitter, and I'm happy with the result :)

 

緑と黄色のミストをスプレーして乾かしてから、モデリングペーストとマスクで背景を作りました。上からゴールドのグリッターを少し乗せて、キラキラさせています。この輪っかがお気に入り！コッパーのグリッターをまぶしたのですが、いい味出してます♪



 



 

 

I layered some cut-out paper pieces and chipboard, some popped up for demension. I love layering !! I also added several types of flowers, a key, and brads.　I inked all the parts, and dabbed some white paint on the title for a rusty look.

 

切り出したペーパーやチップボードを重ねたり、ポップアップさせたりして立体感を出しました。重ねるの大好き！！後は、色々なタイプのお花、鍵とブラッズを加えました。パーツはインクで汚し、タイトルも白アクリルを少しつけて錆びたような雰囲気にしました。
