ONGOING STORY (CSI COLD CASE FILE #283 DT work)

Hi! My new layout is based on the COLD CASE FILE from CSI!

This is a bonus challenge for those who want to try to resurrect

 some of their old stash.

Here is the CASE FILE; 

I was inspired by the buttons and letters.

こんにちは！今日のレイアウトは CSI のチャレンジで作りました。
これはいつものチャレンジとは違い、ボーナスチャレンジで、
眠っている材料や道具を再びよみがえらせるためのチャレンジです。

こちらがチャレンジ↓
私は、ボタンと英字にインスピレーションをもらいました。

Instead of using real buttons, I punched out a lot from leftover scrap paper.
Then I painted the background with watercolors that match the colors of the buttons.

I pulled out some acetate words and phrase stickers, adhered them lightly

and machine stitched through some of them with matching thread.

I also zig zag stitched the borders on the top and bottom of the layout.
To add some more fun elements, I fussy cut some human shapes and lined

them with hearts in between. Here are the close-ups;

本物のボタンを使う代わりに、残っている端切れペーパをボタンパンチで
たくさんパンチしました。背景をボタンと同色の水彩絵の具で着色し、
アセテートの英字やステッカーを並べていくつかをミシンでステッチ。
上下のボーダーもジグザグステッチをかけました。
楽しい雰囲気を追加するため、人の形をカットアウト、ハートと並べました。

I'm happy that I was able to use up some of my scraps, and this challenge

 proves that you can make a layout with limited stuff and leftovers!!
