vacation (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

 
 

Hi! Today I'm happy to share my layout for the new Scrap Our Stash Blend - A - Sketch Challenge. Here are the sketches, and don't forget to add SEQUINS. It was quite difficult combining these sketches, but I used the row of hearts from the right sketch, and the rest from the left.

 

こんにちは！今日は、 Scrap Our Stash　の新しいチャレンジで作ったＤＴワークを紹介します♪　こちらがスケッチです。スパンコールも忘れないでね！この二つを組み合わせるのはなかなか難しかったのですが、右側のスケッチからはハートの列と、残りは左側のスケッチからとりました。

 

 

I used some textured paste and a stencil to create some patterns on the background. While I was waiting for it to dry, I used my Big Shot to die cut some hearts. I also fussy cut flowers and butterflies from patterned paper. I backed the pictures with paper and foam and placed a strip of ribbon and fussy cut flowers under and around them.

テクスチャペーストとステンシルを使って背景に模様をつけ、乾かしている間にダイカットマシンでハートをカットしました。ペーパーからお花や蝶もカットアウト。写真にペーパーとフォームを重ね、リボンやお花を下や周りに飾りました。

 

 

I tied a gold thread on a bird chipboard and hung a charm.

 

鳥のチップボードにゴールドの糸を結び、チャームをぶら下げました。

 



 

I transfered butterfly rub-ons on vellum, and cut them out. I also added blings, enamel dots, sequins and glitter glue.

ヴェラムに蝶のラブオンをうつし、カットアウトして使いました。パールやエナメルドッツ、スパンコール、グリッターグルーも加えて華やかに。

YOU ARE Wonderful (Let's Get Sketchy DT Work)

 
 

Hello again! I'm happy to share my layout for the new sketch from Let's Get Sketchy! Here is the awesome sketch!

 

再びこんにちは！今度はLet's Get Sketchy　のＤＴワークです♪　こちらがスケッチです。

 

 

This is a picture of my daughter taking a bubble bath in a hotel in Guam. She was so cute and funny lathering the soap and placing the foam on her head. I wanted to make this girly and cute. I cut a big strip of stripe paper and three thin strips from several patterned paper and layered them on the lower half of the layout. I sprayed some blue and pink ink on the background, pulled out an ephemera pack from crate paper and made a lot of layers under and around the photo. I put foam underneath the layers and it created great dimention. I also added ribbons, flairs, stickers, sequins, dew drops, a clip and a puffy heart. Here are some close-ups;

グアムのホテルで泡風呂に入っている娘の写真を使いました。一生懸命泡を立てて頭に乗せたりして、すごく楽しそう！女の子っぽい、可愛らしいレイアウトにしたかったので、りぼんやハートをふんだんに使いました♡　まずストライプのペーパーと、細いボーダーを3本カットして下半分に貼りつけ、ブルーとピンクのインクでスプレーしました。ダイカットのセットからタグやフレームなどをたくさん写真の下や周りに重ね、フォームをはさんで立体感を出しました。他にエンベリとしてリボン、ボタン、ステッカー、スパンコール、デュードロップ、クリップ、ぷっくりハートなどを使いました♪　うん、ラブリー！

LAUGH out loud (CSI CASE FIE #258 DT Work)

 

Hey Scrappers! I have a new layout to share for the new challenge of CSI! Here is the challenge, and make sure to check the website for details!

 

こんにちは！今日は、CSI　の新しいチャレンジで作ったレイアウトです。こちらがチャレンジです。詳細はサイトをチェックしてね♪

 

 

I used all the colors and took inspiration from how the picture scattered all the beachy stuff. I used woodgrain paper for the background, and stamped with black ink for sketchy patterns. I also splattered some coral ink. I did a lot of fussy cutting, and scattered the pieces along with the pictures. Here are the details;

 

チャレンジの色パレットと、絵のビーチグッズの配置を参考にして作りました。背景には木目のペーパーを使い、スケッチっぽい模様をつけるのにスタンプを使いました。朱色のインクも飛ばしています。たくさんのパーツをペーパーから切りだし、絵のようにあちこちに配置しました。

FUN (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

 

 

Hi! Today I'm happy to share my new layout for Scrap Our Stash:) Here is the Challenge and you must include a SUN on your layout!

こんにちは！今日は Scrap Our Stash　のチャレンジで作った新しいレイアウトを紹介します。この映画　+　太陽を入れて作ること！

 



I used a SUN cutfile for this layout. I backed it with bright yellow, orange and coral patterned paper and adhered it to white cardstock. For embellishments, I wanted to use summer stickers but they were transparent, so I stuck them to white paper and fussy cut them. I glued around the pictures with them before adhering them to the background. I also used wooden parts, enamel dots and sequins. I popped up the word FUN and made it as a title and splattered some watercolor paint all over the layout. Love how summery it has become! Here are the details;

太陽のカットファイルを使うことにしました。後ろに明るい黄色、オレンジ、コーラルのパターンペーパーを貼りつけ、白バジルに貼りつけました。エンベリには主にステッカーを使いたかったのですが、半透明のものもあったので、白い紙に貼りつけてからカットアウトして使っています。ステッカーを写真の周りに配置し貼りつけてから、それぞれの写真を貼りました。木のパーツやエナメルドッツ、スパンコールも使い、英字　ＦＵＮ　をポップアップしてタイトルに。最後に水彩絵の具を全体に飛ばして完成！ザ・夏！の雰囲気がお気に入り♡

SO MUCH FUN (CSI CASE FIE #257 DT Work)

 

Hello friends! It's getting hot now here in Japan. Summer is just there!! Today I'm sharing my take on the challenge of CSI. Here is the case file. Please check the challenge site for details!

 

こんにちは！暑くなってきました！夏はすぐそこですが、熱中症に注意ですね！！今日のレイアウトはCSI　のDTワークです。詳細はチャレンジサイトをチェックしてね！質問はコメント欄で受け付けますのでいつでもどうそ♪

 

 

I was inspired by the colors and the summer theme. I wanted to create a beachy layout with my picture blending in with the background. I started with using a greenish patterned paper and added several different shades of green and yellow watercolors. The sand is made with natural sand textured paste and mica fragments. To add some texture, I used modeling paste and several stencils. I fussy cut some circles and layered them around the picture. I also fussy cut some flowers and popped them up with foam. I splattered some pink and added dew drops and finished the layout. Here are the close-ups;

 

色と夏テーマにインスピレーションをもらいました。ビーチっぽいレイアウトで、写真が溶け込むようにしたかったので、まずは海っぽい色のパターンペーパーに、さらにグリーンやイエローの水彩絵の具でグラデーションをつけました。砂はナチュラルサンドテクスチャペーストとミカフラグメンツを使って表現しました。さらにテクスチャをつけるために、モデぺと数種のステンシルで模様づけ。丸をカットアウトして写真の周りに重ねたり、花もカットアウトしてポップアップ。ピンクのインクを飛ばし、デュードロップを散らして完成！

hello SUMMER (Let's Get Sketchy DT Work)

 

Hi!! I'm excited to share my new layout for the new sketch from Let's Get Sketchy! Here is the awesome sketch!

 

こんにちは！今日のレイアウトは、Let's Get Sketchy　のDTワークです。　こちらがスケッチ♪

 

 

I used a picture of my daughter with her best friend. They look so happy together, laughing and having fun. I wanted to make a colorful, summery fun layout. I pulled out some shimmers and spread the colors directly on white cardstock. I didn't used gesso, but I added a lot of water to lighten the colors. I cut strips and layered them on the right and popped up a fussy cut cactus. I layered the photo with several pieces of paper and strips and added fussy cut flowers and fruits under and around it. I also added a flair and epoxy stickers for embellishments. On the upper left corner and the lower right corner, I cut a project life card and layered a strip under it for accent. I thought I needed a little more color, so I cut the bottom of the cardstock and added a colorful paper underneath. I drew some stitches with a red pencil around the page and tada! Here are the details;

娘が友達と楽しそうに笑っている写真を使いました。いつもゲラゲラ笑っている二人、とても楽しそう！なので楽しい雰囲気のカラフルな夏レイアウトにしました。白いカードストックに、直接絵の具を着色しました。ジェッソは塗りませんでしたが、水をたくさん加えて色を薄めています。ペーパーを細くカットして右側に重ね、カットアウトしたサボテンをポップアップ。写真の下にはペーパーやボーダーを重ね、カットアウトしたフルーツやお花を飾りつけ、ボタンとステッカーを加えました。左上と右下にはプロジェクトライフカードをカットし、アクセントに明るい色のボーダーを重ねづけました。少し色が物足りなかったので、レイアウトの下部分を少しかっとして、カラフルなペーパーを貼りつけました。最後に周りを赤い色鉛筆でステッチを描いて完成！

 

This is one of my favorite types of layouts; colorful and summery! It came together pretty quick, and I really enjoyed making it. Thank you so much for visiting, and I hope you all have a wonderful creative month!!

MY HAPPY PLACE (White...with 1 DT work)

 

Hi! Can't believe it's already July!! Today I'm happy to share my new layout for White...with 1. This month's color is Air Bubble! Plus, there's a moodboard to inspire you.

 

こんにちは！もう7月だなんて信じられないですね！今日はWhite...with 1　のDTワークです♪　今月の色はエアーバブル。綺麗な色ですね！ムードボードもあるので合わせてどうぞ！

 

 

I took inspiration from the word bubble and woolen yarn from the moodboard. I started with painting and splattering on white cardstock. After it had dried, I punched them out. Then I randomly placed them, adhered them partly and ran my sewing machine on and around the punched out shapes. I matted the pictures with tissue paper and tucked one corner each in the circles. I used diecuts and stickers and popped some of them up and adhered them around the photos. I finished the layout by scattering sequins and dew drops and that's it! Easy peasy! Here are some of the close-ups;

 

バブルという言葉と、ムードボードの毛糸からインスピレーションをもらいました。白いペーパーに絵の具で着色し、乾いた後パンチしました。新しい白ペーパーにランダムに並べ、部分的に糊付けしてその上や周りにミシンをかけました。写真は包装紙を重ねて一部を丸の下に入れました。ダイカットやステッカーで写真の周りを飾り、いくつかをポップアップしています。スパンコールやデュードロップを散りばめて完成！とっても簡単！

 

 

 

For this layout, I didn't use any patterned paper at all but I had a lot of fun! Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you will play along!
