Showtime (Let's Get Sketchy DT Work)

 
 

Hi! Today's layout is made with the mid-month sketch of Let's Get Sketchy. Here is the sketch;

こんにちは！今日のレイアウトはLet's Get Sketchy　二つ目のスケッチで作りました。こちらがスケッチです。
 

 

This sketch was a challenge for me, because I don't usually use multiple pictures of this size, but I found some pictures that match the sketch:) I started by painting the background with watercolors and let it dry. Then I cut some strips of paper and distressed the edges. After I adhered the strips (some were not completely adhered yet because I wanted to tuck the photo inside some of the strips), I used a template and modeling paste to create a pattern. I dabbed gold glitter glue over the modeling paste after it had dried. I love the dimentional look.

普通サイズの写真を3枚も使ったことはほとんどないので難しかったのですが、スケッチに合いそうな写真を見つけました！まず背景を水彩絵の具で着色し、乾かしました。それから、ボーダーを何本かカットし、端をディストレスしました。ボーダーを貼りつけた後（後で写真を挟みたかったので、ところどころは仮止めにしました）、テンプレートとモデリングペーストで模様をつけました。乾いた後、ゴールドのグリッターグルーを乗せました。ぷっくりと立体的になっていい感じ♪

 

 

I layered the photos with paper and diecuts and distressed the edges. I used wooden flairs, diecuts and chipboard stickers for embellishments.

 

写真にペーパーとダイカットを重ね、周りをディストレスしました。他に、木のボタンやダイカット、チップボードステッカーで飾りつけ。

 



 

 

 

I put golden thread on the tags.

タグには金色の糸を結びました。

 

And used a chipboard sticker for the title.

タイトルにはチップボードステッカーを。

At first, I wasn't sure if this was going to work, with a lot going on on the background, but when I saw the finished layout, I thought it became a fun and messy layout in a good way.
