そしてこちらがスケッチ♪

First of all, I drew a loop on cardboard, cut it out and wrapped it with a yellow ribbon. I cut another strip, tied a ribbon and stuck it to the loop. This uses up a lot of ribbon, so if you have some that are left untouched, or abandoned?? this might be a good idea to use it. Plus, it's really eye-catching! Next, I layered some cards and acetate tags under and around the loop. I put foam under the photos as a mat and drew dots around the pictures with liquid pearls. For the title, I cut out words from patterned paper. I finished the layout with stickers and enamel dots. Here are some close-ups;

まず、厚紙に輪を描いてカットし、黄色いリボンを巻きました。さらにもう一本カットし、リボン結びにして輪にくっつけました。これは、かなりリボンを使うので、たくさん余っていて使い道のないリボンなどがあればいいかも♪　何より、インパクトのあるレイアウトに仕上がります(笑)　次に、輪の下や周りにカードやアセテートのタグを重ねました。写真の下にはフォームを重ね、周りをリキッドパールでドットをつけました。パターンペーパーから言葉を切り出してタイトルにして、ステッカーやエナメルドッツで飾ったら出来上がり！

so lovely

This is a layout that I made a little while ago:) I fussy cut all the flowers and leaves (quite a lot!!) and punched out circles. Before I placed everything down, I spread some gesso so it will soften the colors of the background paper. After sticking the picture and all the cut out pieces, I decorated around with enamel dots, sequins and chipboard. Here are some details;

少し前に作ったレイアウト♪　お花や葉っぱ（結構たくさん！）をペーパーから切り抜いて、サークルパンチで丸をパンチ。配置する前に、背景の色を少し和らげるためジェッソを広げました。写真と切り出したものを全部貼りつけた後、エナメルドッツとスパンコール、チップボードで飾りつけ♡

Sept 15- My favorite kind of weather

Tell on your layout your favorite kind of weather. :-) Is it stormy and thunderous weather, sunshine, rain, snow...etc… be creative!

レイアウトの中に、お気に入りの天気を入れてみよう！嵐や雷、晴れや雨、雪など…何でもいいですよ♪

I chose 'rain and clouds'. It doesn't actually mean that I like that weather, nor my daughter does, but when she got this new umbrella and rain boots...she was longing for rain! She was so happy when it did rain and was able to go out with all her favorites.

私は、「雨と雲」を選びました。娘も私も、雨が好きなわけではないのですが、新しい傘と長靴を使いたくて、雨乞い(笑)　やっと雨が降ると、娘は嬉々として飛び出しました♪

I did a lot of fussy cutting (again!) and made them the main embellishments of the layout. I also used some strips of paper, washi tape, stickers and wooden pieces. To spice up the layout, I used a stencil and modeling paste to decorate around the layout and painted the patterns with random colors. Here are some close-ups;

まず、またまたペーパーからたくさん切り抜きました。切り抜いた雲が主役のエンベリに。他にも、ペーパーのハギレやマステ、ステッカー、木のエンベリを使いました。レイアウトを引き締めるため、ステンシルとモデリングペーストを使って周りに模様をつけ、ランダムに色づけしました。

 

It was really fun making this, and I hope a lot of you will enjoy creating with this challenge too!

just for fun (Scrap Our Stash DT Work)

 

Here comes the new Tic Tac Toe Challenge from Scrap Our Stash!!
I chose the bottom row, ARROW, WOOD GRAIN PAPER and CIRCLE.

 

Scrap Our Stash の新しいチャレンジ、来ましたよー♪

私は一番下の、矢印、木目ペーパー、円を選びました。

 

I found this perfect wood grain paper for the background. Also, I found a paper full of colorful circles! So what I did was.....fussy cutting!! I know I do this a lot... I really loved the circles with different colors, so I cut out almost all of them! That was not what I planned at first, but I thought it looked so nice placing them like a colorful mat. I didn't layer anything under the photo, but I put foam underneath to let it pop up. It was pretty enough with just the colorful circles, but I wanted to add some cute embellishments and of course, arrows which is one of the items I chose. I added wooden and chipboard arrows, colk hearts, a flair button and a brad. I really love how this turned out! Here are some close-ups;

木目調のペーパーがあったので、まずは台紙に決定。もう一枚、カラフルな丸がたくさんのペーパーがあったので、早速チョキチョキ！ペーパーから切り出すのはよくしますが、今回もひたすらチョキチョキ(笑) 最初はアクセントに、と思っていたのに、写真の下に並べたら可愛かったので、ほぼ全部カットしてしまいました！写真には何も重ねずに、フォームを貼ってポップアップして立体感を出しました。これだけでも十分可愛い！と思ったのですが、まだ矢印もつけないといけないし、可愛いエンベリがたくさんあったので、あちこちにチップボードや木の矢印、ブラッズやコルクなど、散らして完成！うん、可愛い♡　（自画自賛・笑）

WKND (Stuck?! Sketches DT Work)

 

 

I love this month's first sketch challenge from  Stuck?! Sketches! Here is the sketch:)

 

今月最初の Stuck?! Sketches チャレンジはこちらの可愛いスケッチ♡

 

 

Since I LOVE summer layouts, I decided to use this picture even thought it's September:) My daughter was so happy, splashing around in this water park with her best friend♡

9月に入りましたが、夏レイアウトが大好きな私は今回も、夏の写真で作りました！ウォーターパークでお友達とはしゃぐ娘、とっても楽しそうでした♪

First I used a thin white ribbon and stapled the four corners to frame the page. Next, I dug into my stash and found bits and pieces of paper that matches the layout. I layered several borders and placed them under the picture. The background paper and diecuts are from Crate Paper, one of my favorite companies. I popped up the title and the flamingo diecut, and embellished with wooden embellies and ribbons. To create a soft touch, I splattered some white acrylic paint by flipping a toothbrush. I know that this is subtle and hard to tell in the pictures, but I love how it softens the atmosphere of the layout. Here are some close-ups;

まず、細い白リボンをホッチキスで台紙ペーパーの4隅に留めてフレームのようにしました。次に、レイアウトに合いそうな端切れペーパーを集め、写真の下に重ねて貼りました。台紙のペーパーとダイカットは、お気に入りメーカーの一つ、Crate Paper のものです。タイトルとフラミンゴをポップアップして、木のエンベリとリボンで飾りつけました。やわからい雰囲気を出すために、白いアクリル絵の具を歯ブラシにつけて指ではじいて飛ばしています。写真ではわかりにくいですが、このひと手間をすることで、ふわっとした優しい感じになるのでお勧めです♪
